Members of a Raheen stage school, The Fame Factory, will travel to Paris next year to perform at Disneyland
A LIMERICK stage school has earned a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as 170 young performers from The Fame Factory in Raheen have been selected to perform at Disneyland Paris in February 2026.
Laura McLoughlin, founder and director of The Fame Factory, has revealed that over 650 people, including students aged 7 to 18 and their families, will travel to Paris for the performance.
“It really is a dream come true for many of our members to perform at Disneyland,” said Laura. “As the kids’ teacher I couldn’t be prouder of them, the hard work and dedication really paid off. We have the most amazing and hard-working students who commit and work hard to achieve their goals!”
Last December, an agent in Dublin reached out after discovering the school’s content on social media.

The school decided to prepare two 3-minute Disney-themed routines, rehearsing intensively for almost two months. With help from Educate Together primary school in Raheen, which provided space for the recordings, the routines were filmed and submitted.
“We had just under 170 children audition in two large groups,” Laura explained. “It is a huge achievement, we are the single largest number/group of children to audition and get through.”
The feedback from Disney highlighted what made the group stand out: “The two large groups, with different dynamics, showcased the incredible versatility of your group. We really appreciated how well you danced in synchronisation, and most importantly, how well you all supported each other, creating a strong group connection. We could also feel the strong teamwork throughout.”
