Singer-songwriter Martin Dillon is a graduate of the World Music Academy, and is a UL postgraduate student
SINGER-SONGWRITER Martin Dillon, a postgraduate student at the University of Limerick, is launching a new video for one of his original compositions, The Shining Light.
The video, which will be streamed on YouTube, features several scenes from Limerick, Killaloe, Co Clare and the Glen of Aherlow, Co Tipperary.
The song features singer Oonagh O’Malley alongside Martin on vocals and piano.

Both Oonagh and Martin graduated with a degree in music from the World Music Academy in the University of Limerick.
On Friday, September 20, Martin launched the new song, and on September 27 he launched an EP of five of his own original compositions on Spotify.
Martin, who is currently living in Limerick, is originally from Tipperary Town, and is a nephew of Michael John Ryan - the owner of Danny Ryan Music Shop in Tipperary.
The video is launching on Friday, October 11.
