The Carlow raised star was asked by Late Late Show Patrick Kielty "It was your husband Jack Lowden's idea, he gave you the book and he is a producer on this (the film), what was it like working together on this?"
Saoirse talks about how amazing she found the experience, "It was great because when you have a personal relationship with someone and you're also in the same field, and you respect one and other, you have the same tastes, and you expect the best from each other."
"To have that other person there, believing in you, pushing you, is great, and he was my eyes and ears when he was on set, he was able to keep an eye on what I was doing."

Because it is very difficult to nail that accent."
