Actor Emmett J Scanlan recreates 'iconic' Friends scene at the the IFTA Film & Drama Awards (IFTA) over the weekend with his daughter.

The Kin actor, who plays Jimmy Kinsella in the drama series was up for Best Supporting Actor at the awards. 

The awards took place on Saturday night, April 13 and are considered to be the last slog of the awards season in the arts and entertainment world and they are given by the Irish Film & Television Academy for Irish television and film.

The awards were first presented in 1999 and the ceremonies recognise Irish creative talent working in film, drama, and television, and winners receive a cast bronze statuette.

The actor, recreated the scene in Friends where Joey is up for an award and doesn't get it and appears angry.

Emmett poked fun at Cillian Murphy, who took home the award with daughter Kayla Scanlan who made the hilarious recreation on social media platform TikTok. 

Fans have reacted under the post, one user said: "Hahaha I love this."
