Limerick's own Hazey Haze shares new animated music video clip

Limerick artist shares new animated music video clip

Hazey Haze has released a new video clip for Milk and Honey

ISLAND man Hazey Haze has released the official animated video for the first track of his mixtape.

With an animated clip created by Krooked tease animations, Bainne Agus Mil translates to Milk and Honey.

Speaking of the new clip, Hazey Haze commented: “I've always wanted to work with Krooked tease animations. When I released Milk and Honey he actually contacted me and said he would like to work on something with me.

“They asked me what tattoos I had, what jewellery I wore. They had all the little bits in.”

Animated clips is a format he would like to explore a bit more in the future.

“We're planning on making more of them. Hopefully, we can expand the idea or the world of that video,” he said.

Hazey Haze's Milk and Honey is all about being your true self.

“It's about being yourself and to stop looking for the land of milk and honey. It's about working hard for what you have, be happy with it.”

Hazey continues: “I just want to be myself, make a little cash to feed myself. It's all about living in the moment, being happy for what you've created and what you've done, no matter how people take it or how many likes and shares you get.”

In 2020, the Limerick rapper released his debut album, Is Mise, which he described as a modern-day plague, colonising every county it reaches, leaving them with the taste, scent and sounds of a young Limerick man's abrupt tales.

At the moment, he is focusing on his new project, titled Shy Boy Gets No Sweets, which is inspired by a saying he heard from family members - “if you don't speak up, you'll never be heard.”

His next project will be divided into sections and will be performed as a full show, in small spaces.

On September 22, Hazey Haze will be performing in Mother Macs for Culture Night.

Speaking of the event, he says: “I'll be doing a whole new set. It's all self-written stories of past Irish people and singing. That's a whole new lane.”

According to Hazey Haze, his next project, Shy Boy Gets No Sweets, will be released at the end of the year.
