Enterprising Limerick students honoured for their innovation

STUDENTS from Colaiste Chiarain, Croom were among the winners in the Foróige Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Programme.

The Best Innovation Award was won by Portanos - Taha Njie, aged 18 and Aidan Oscar, 16.

The Croom duo now go on to the European Youth Entrepreneur Awards in Berlin in October.

The Portanos project is an affordable and reliable medical device designed to make medical diagnostics accessible to everyone.

It is paired with a software that analyses ECG data, ensuring reliable and ease of use diagnostics.
