Germany Rose - Sarah Ann Fritz Guten Tag, I’m Sarah, and I’m proud to represent Germany at this year’s Rose of Tralee Festival. I was born and raised in Augsburg, Bavaria, and grew up bilingually thanks to my German father and Tipperary mother. Spending most summers in Ireland deepened my love for both cultures, and I still return whenever I can. I work as a Clinical Research Associate, where I’m passionate about bringing new treatments to patients through clinical trials. Knowing my work can offer hope and save lives gives purpose to every day. I also recently completed my Mental Health First Aider course, as I believe mental well-being is just as vital as physical health. Outside of work, I love travelling in my campervan and being in nature — whether hiking, cycling, or diving in the oceans. As a Rose, I hope to inspire young girls to pursue careers in science and believe in their potential. I’m honored to be part of this celebration of heritage and connection, and excited to share this journey with incredible women from around the world.

Cork Rose - Nancy Lehane My name is Nancy Lehane, and I’m honoured to be the 2025 Cork Rose. I’m 22 years old and proudly from Meelin, the highest village in Ireland. I recently completed my degree in primary school teaching. Teaching has always been part of who I am. I began teaching music to children and adults at fourteen and continued until I was seventeen. Even now, I am often teaching my four brothers how to hang clothes on the line properly — so teaching was definitely the path for me! Teaching children was always a dream of mine. Music has been a huge part of my life since the age of five. I play the guitar, piano, concertina, and tin whistle, and I love to sing. I’ve shared my music at community events and through volunteering, and I’m passionate about using it to bring joy to others. I also love sport and play Gaelic football with my local club. I enjoy the craic, teamwork, and fitness it brings. I’m so grateful and excited for the journey ahead as the 2025 Cork Rose.

Laois Rose - Katelyn Cummins Dia duit, my name is Katelyn, I’m 20 and I hail from the small village of Ballyouskill, which sits on the Laois and Kilkenny border. I grew up on a dairy farm, where my love for the outdoors has blossomed from. I am currently in my 3rd phase of an electrical apprenticeship with Alpha Drives Ltd. and I hope to do an engineering degree in the future. I‘m an outgoing and adventurous individual who truly thrives on socialising and meeting new people. I have developed a strong love for travelling in recent years, and love learning about different cultures. I have won two county finals while playing camogie with my local club, and love going set dancing and jiving with my family and friends. I am chairperson of the North Kilkenny Macra club which has allowed me to meet so many new people and form connections all over Ireland. I am so honoured to partake in the amazing Rose of Tralee International Festival 2025 and meet my fellow Rose sisters.

Limerick Rose - Leah McMahon I’m Leah, a 29-year-old Limerick native and financial planner with a passion for education, community, and creating opportunities for others. After graduating from the University of Limerick, I built a career focused on improving financial literacy especially among women and young people because I believe knowledge is one of the most powerful tools we can offer. Resilient and driven, I’ve seen firsthand how access to the right support and information can transform lives. That belief inspires everything I do from delivering financial advice to running Bláthú, a workshop designed to help women grow in confidence, find community, and take up space in their personal and professional lives. Outside of work, I coach Ahane U8 Girls’ Gaelic football team, playing with the Ahane Mothers & Others, and volunteering with NOVAS. As a financial planner in a male-dominated industry, I’m committed to uplifting women’s voices, championing inclusion, and encouraging more women to pursue careers in finance. As a Rose of Tralee candidate, I hope to represent Limerick’s strength, heart, and ambition and inspire others to believe in their own potential.
