Robbery in broad daylight sees gardaí in Kilmallock investigate

AN “UNUSUAL” crime which saw €500 worth of farm equipment stolen at a county Limerick farm sees gardaí investigate.

A pallet of fencing stakes were stolen from a field on a farm at Ardkilmartin, Kilmallock, between 3pm and 9pm last Thursday, September 19.

The value of the fencing stakes is €500.

“The thief or thieves accessed the field on foot from a road,” said garda John Finnerty of Henry St. garda station.

“The thieves would have utilised some mode of transport to take away the fencing stakes. This would have taken some time,” he said.

Describing it as an “unusual crime”, garda Finnerty made an appeal to the public to contact Kilmallock gardaí at 063 98018 with any information they may have.
