A LIMERICK school had a very special visitor when Rose of Tralee Roisín Wiley popped in to say hello!
Scoil Mocheallog Kilmallock welcomed Roisín, daughter of Eddie who grew up in Kilmallock, where she met children and staff.
She was greeted by a performance of Up the Baelbec, the Kilmallock GAA song, on her entrance to the hall in honour of her great Kilmallock heritage!
She also got to meet some of the pupils and her cousins who attend the school.
Roisín told the children all about how her year was going and how she came to enter the competition.
There were some great questions from some of the pupils and she maybe even inspired some future Roses!!
Pupils also helped Roisín plant a rose to mark the occasion.
See our gallery for more pictures from the event.
