SHANNON based company Mincon has listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, raising €50m as part of the flotation.
The company, which specialises in the design, manufacture, sales and servicing of rock drilling consumable tools and related products, operates from the Smithstown Industrial Estate in Shannon.
It also has manufacturing facilities in Ireland, the USA and Australia
In 2010 it played its part in one of the most miraculous rescues of all time by providing one of the drills used to save the 33 trapped miners in San Jose, Chile.
This week it has been welcomed to the Irish exchange’s Enterprise Securities Market. Mincon raised €50m as part of its flotation and joins the ESM with a market capitalisation of €180m.
