LIMERICK photographer Tony Grehan captured some incredible video footage of the Giant Grandmother’s visit to the city at the weekend.
Tony, originally from Granville Park and now living in Fedamore, captured footage of the Royal de Luxe show over the three days it took place.
The spectacular drone footage was captured on Saturday as the Giant crossed Thomond Bridge to King John’s Castle.
Tony explained that he has been using the drone for about four months, and has already memorably captured the St John’s Cathedral spire and the Our Nation’s Sons artwork installed on the Ranks building in that short time.
“It practically flies itself using GPS and a mounted Go-Pro camera,” Tony explained.
