AVIVA Premiership giants Saracens jet into Limerick this weekend with a star-studded side, including five members of the England squad which sensationally defeated New Zealand last weekend. Listed below are four of their leading lights hoping to dazzle at Thomond Park.

Owen Farrell

THE talented 21-year-old played at out-half in England’s stunning autumn international victory over the All-Blacks at Twickenham last weekend, but is more likely to feature in the centre for Sarries against Munster on Saturday with Charlie Hodgson set to line out at out-half. Four years ago, Farrell became the youngest player at the time to make his debut in the professional game and now boasts 12 full England caps.

Chris Ashton

MUNSTER fans are fully aware of the threat winger Ashton poses following the province’s recent meetings with his previous club Northampton Saints.

The 25-year-old has an impressive strike rate in Europe, bagging 16 tries in 25 appearances for both Sarries and the Saints in European and Challenge Cup competitions. Will arrive in Limerick in confident mood after bagging a try in England’s weekend win over the All-Blacks.

Steve Borthwick

SECOND-ROW and team captain Borthwick is a key member of the Sarries pack.

The 35-year-old has played more than 50 times for England as well as 80 times in European competition for both Saracens and Bath. Borthwick is an acclaimed line-out operator and has been instrumental in helping Saracens boast the most impressive line-out in the Heineken Cup this season.

Schalk Brits

SOUTH African hooker Brits has been keeping Springbok legend John Smit on the replacements bench, testimony to his quality. The dynamic Brits - who has played five times for South Africa, including in their recent win over England - signed for Saracens at the start of the 2009/10 season, bringing a wealth of talent and experience at Super 14 and international level.
