Kilkenny CBS block Árdscoil's path to the final
Árdscoil Rís will take on Kilkenny CBS this Saturday afternoon in an All-Ireland Colleges semi-final (Croke Cup) - Templemore will host that game at 2.30pm.
In Freshford on Monday afternoon Kilkenny CBS beat Thurles CBS 3-15 to 2-8 to set-up a tantalising clash against the Dr. Harty Cup champions, rdscoil Rs.
Following their magnificent 3-15 to 0-14 win over Thurles CBS in last Thursday's Dr. Harty Cup final second replay, rdscoil will be eagerly looking forward to taking on Kilkenny CBS who lost the Leinster Colleges final to St. Kieran's - St. Kieran's take on St. Mary's, Athenry in their corresponding All-Ireland semi-final.
No Limerick college has who the Croke Cup since 1966 when Limerick CBS claimed national honours, the Sexton Street school were also the last Limerick representatives to make the decider in 1967.
The Limerick hurlers host Tipperary in the NHL this weekend at the Gaelic Grounds while the footballers travel to Aughrim to take on Wicklow in the NFL.
