Four away league games for Limerick footballers

THE Limerick footballers will play four of the Allianz Football League Division 4 games away from home in 2013.

The fixtures were released this week and they see Limerick travel to Offaly, Waterford, London and Clare.

They begin their campaign at home to Leitrim on February 3 but are away to Offaly a week later. Maurice Horan’s men then have a three-week break before they travel to Waterford and that game kicks off a busy four-week period where they follow up with games against Carlow (home), Tipperary (home) and London (away).

Their last league game is against Clare in Ennis on Sunday, April 7, where Limerick will be looking for revenge for this year’s Munster championship semi-final defeat.
