Paddy Dennehy and the Red Herring will perform upstairs at Dolans this weekend

HOTLY tipped act Paddy Dennehy and the Red Herring return to Dolan’s for a much anticipated show this Saturday night.

Despite the presence of Brit-rock icons Kula Shaker in the Warehouse on the same night, it is the jazz-folk outfit – Dennehy is an MIC graduate and is accompanied by Cappamore’s Johanna O’Brien – we recommend.

Think influences as diverse as Tom Waits, Louis Armstrong and Mick Flannery and you’ll get the picture. EP Once Upon A Night was released in November and is worth your time, take it from us. They play Dolan’s Upstairs on Saturday, doors 9pm, tickets €10.
