THE final theatre piece in a new showcase series of work in the city takes place this Saturday night.

Everything Sometimes, a work based on memory, death and fraternal ties created by dance artist, Nora Rodriguez, in collaboration with actor Kevin Kiely Jnr and writer Shane Vaughan, will close Pulse II, the City of Culture backed theatre legacy project, taking place in the performance HUB in Red Cross Hall.

Rodriguez came to Limerick from Mexico to study with Mary Nunan in the Masters in Contemporary Dance Performance in UL some years ago and has remained in Limerick as an active member of the arts community in the city.

Originally conceived as a solo dance piece, Everything Sometimes now expands to include texts and performances by Vaughan, Kiely and Rodriguez.

“PULSE II set out to encourage collaborations between artists from different disciplines,” explains Monica Spencer. “Each work is presented in the context of being ‘in development’ and is followed by an informal social interaction between artists and audiences in The HUB.

“The collaborations between theatre and dance brings a new perspective to performance work for artists and audiences in Limerick.” Bookings on 087 6047262.
