Small Plastic Wars comes to the Savoy Theatre series
THE popular Theatre at the Savoy series returns this week with one man show Small Plastic Wars.
The play, written and performed by Pat McGrath, runs this Thursday and Friday lunchtime at the Savoy Hotel, with an evening show on Thursday.
Described as an“amusing account how one man turned an unfilled dream to bridge the void of unemployment and recession”, the play is directed by Alan King.
The piece tells the story of Joe, who through unemployment has time to enjoy his hobby of sticking bits of plastic together, but whose wife, his kids, the bank manager, his nemesis Hermann, the checkout girl in Tesco and Angela Merkel have other ideas!
Small Plastic Wars has been hailed as a “diamond of a show”, so don’t miss out.
Bookings can be made by phone on 085-855 4341 or see www.limericktheatre.com for more information.
