MUNSTER’S Heineken Cup quarter-final clash with Harlequins at The Stoop has been fixed for Sunday, April 7 at 2pm.

Munster will be appearing in their 14th quarter-final and the two-time Cup winners have won nine of them. Three of Munster’s quarter-final successes came away from home, against Stade Francais Paris 2002, v Leicester Tigers 2003 and v Gloucester Rugby 2008

Munster’s allocation of tickets for the game is expected to be under 4,000 as ‘Quins opted to play the game at their home ground at Twickenham Stoop, rather than switch it to the likes of Twickenham or Wembley.

Conor O’Shea’s Harlequins came through the pool stages of this season’s Heineken Cup as number one seeds for the first time in the club’s history

The last time the clubs met in European competition, Harlequins pulled off a famous 2011 Amin Challenge Cup semi-final victory at Thomond Park
