YOUNG Munster, Garryowen, UL-Bohemian and Old Crescent all recorded wins while Thomond also drew on a successful Saturday for Limerick clubs in the Ulster Bank League.
In-form Young Munster lie second in Division 1A after a dramatic 20-18 victory over Clontarf at Clifford Park, while Garryowen sit fourth in the top flight table on the back of an excellent 16-13 win over Cork Constitution at Dooradoyle.
In Division 1B, leaders UL-Bohs keep up their terrific start to the season, making it three bonus point wins on the bounce when seeing off Old Wesley 29-21 at the 4G rugby pitch at UL.
There was disappointment for Shannon, however, who remain rooted to the foot of the table after suffering an 18-12 defeat away to Ballynahinch.
In Division 2B, Old Crescent lie sixth in the table, thanks to an impressive 24-16 victory over Wanderers at Rosbrien.
In the same Division, bottom side Thomond pick up their first points of the campaign in a 13-13 draw away to City of Derry.
Meanwhile, in Division 2C, Bruff remain anchored to the foot of the table after shipping a 31-10 reverse away to Seapoint.
