GAA President officially opens Ballylanders GAA facilities

BALLYLANDERS GAA club officially open their new facilities this Sunday, April 17.

GAA President Aogan O’Fearghail will perform the official opening of the new complex at 1.30.

As part of the day the club grounds are to be renamed Frank B Dineen Park.

The Allianz Hurling League semi finals will be shown live throughout the day with free kids entertainment.

At 7.00 on Sunday evening John Brudair’s Limerick and Liam Kearns’ Tipperary will play in a senior football challenge game to mark the occasion.

The 2014 Limerick SFC and 2015 Limerick Ladies Football championship winners have a state of the art new clubhouse, with hall, and dressing rooms since the beginning of 2015. They have also undertaken field improvement works in recent years in their grounds on the Kilfinane Road out of the village.
