Limerick footballers begin league campaign against Tipperary
The Limerick footballers will begin their Allianz Football League Division 3 campaign this Sunday, January 31, against Tipperary.
That game has been fixed for Kilmallock, having originally been pencilled in for the Gaelic Grounds. Throw-in stays at 2pm.
For the third consecutive year Limerick are in Division 3 – and their opponents will be Tipperary, Longford, Kildare, Offaly, Clare, Westmeath and Sligo.
John Brudair’s men, who were beaten by Cork and Waterford in the McGrath Cup, are 5/6 favourites to be relegated with Offaly and Sligo next in line at 6/4 and 7/4 respectively.
