CITY rivals Young Munster and Shannon will look to secure an ODM Munster Senior Cup semi-final meeting with UL-Bohs when they go head-to-head in a quarter-final tie at Coonagh tonight, Friday, October 12, at 7.30pm.

Munsters’ will approach the game in confident mood after their impressive AIL Division 1A victory over holders St Mary’s College at Clifford Park last weekend. Munsters’ are joint top of the 1A table, through a combination of that victory and their opening night win over Friday night’s opponents Shannon.

Shannon will be desperate to bounce back from that AIL defeat to Munsters’ two weeks ago and their heavy loss to Lansdowne on the back pitch at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday. The make-up of one semi-final in the ODM Munster Senior Cup has been decided with Cork Con’ due to host improving Cashel.
