Coaching team: Head coach; John Broderick; Forwards coach: Ger Slattery; Backs Coach: Tadhg Bennett; Backs Coach: Eugene O’Brien.

Last cup success:2006

Last season: Reached the semi-final before losing to Rockwell College

Squad: Adam Guerin, Adam Moloney, Antoine Sheehy*, Alan Wallace*, Ben Kilkenny*, Bobby Price*, Brian Bennett, Brenden Keogh*, Cameron Stephanson, Cian O’Shaughnessy, Corey Wells, Colin Duggan*, David Begley*, Mark Long, Emmett O’Callaghan, Edward O’Keefe*, Evan O’Connor, Eric Mulcahy, Jonathon O’Hanlon, John Foley, John Qunilivan, James Burke, Jordan Prenderville*, Liam O’Dwyer, Josh O’ Curry, Michael Deveney, Keelan Stephenson*, Killian Browne*, Luke O’Halloran* (Capt), Nathan Nugent*, Peter Meyer*, Patrick Murnane, Ryan Meagher*, Sean O’Dea*, Shane King*, Shane Doona*, Shane Halpin*, Stephen Collins*, Thomas Madden*, Tom O’ Dwyer*.

Captain: Luke O’Halloran

Representative players: Ben Kilkenny (Munster and Ireland U-19), Emmett O’Callaghan, Peter Meyer, John Foley, (all Munster Schools), Luke O’Halloran, Edward O’Keefe (both Munster U-19s)

Star man: Munster U-19 player and team captain Luke O’Halloran has made a terrific comeback from injury, having missed almost a year and a half of action with a serious back injury.

Any other business: Ben Kilkenny is a nephew of former Garryowen, Munster, Ireland Lions hooker, Keith Wood.

Prospects: Coming into the Cup nicely under the radar with much of the Limerick focus on holders Crescent College Comprehensive and bookies favourites Arsdscoil Ris. St Munchin’s lost out narrowly to Rockwell for the past two seasons. With 22 ‘survivors’ from their 2013 squad and a host of representative players, expect a strong challenge from the Corbally rugby nursery.
