CASTLETROY College claimed the Munster Schools Junior Cup title for the second time in their history when defeating Crescent College in last March’s final.

Castletroy begin the defence of their title against St Munchin’s College on Thursday, February 6.

Last season: Defeated Crescent College in last season’s final to claim the Cup for a second time.

Prospects: Buoyed by their thrilling success of last season, Castletroy College will be confident of mounting a strong defence of their title. The Newtown school boast three ‘survivors’ from that side which defeated Crescent College in last March’s final. Castletroy begin the defence of their title against the winners of the qualifer clash of St Munchin’s College and Bandon Grammar School.
