P E Tommy Ca : Acknowledgement

Carroll Pte Tommy Carroll Late of Southill/St. John's Avenue, Mulgrave Street. The family and the wife Mary of the late Tommy Carroll would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us all on our unexpected and sad loss. A sincere word of thanks to all who attended the removal, Mass and burial, all who sent flowers and Mass cards. Thank you to all our very kind relatives the Carroll family and the Higgins family, friends and neighbours too numerous to mention. Thank you to Cross's Funeral Home for their professionalism, grave diggers, to the singers, organ player and pipe player Michael Egan. Thank you to Garda Siochana/Ambulance Service also, finally a thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all at Sarsfield Barracks and Col McKenna, to Father Seamus Madigan who offered a beautiful Mass and beautiful words about his friend Tommy. To Captain Martin McGrath and Corporal Michael O'Connor whose presence will never leave us, to all of Caledonian football team, to all the 12th battalion and all of Tommy's comrades and friends who helped us send Tommy on his last farewell. As it is impossible to thank everybody please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. Tommy's Month Mind Mass will be held Saturday 23rd at 8.30pm at the Garrison Church Sarsfield Barracks.
