CHRISTMAS FAIR IN BRUREE: The Community Hall in Bruree is holding its first Christmas Fair on Sunday, December 8th. This will be a “table-top” event for people to sell their cakes, jams, cards, knitting, bric-a-brac, vegetables etc. There are plenty of talented people in our community, so give it a go and get crafting! (There will be a small charge per table). We aim to make it a family event with art competitions, fun games and music for the children and tea and buns for the grown-ups. Additionally, we are having a remembrance Christmas tree which will be decorated with Christmas cards in memory of loved ones. The cards will be available on the day for you to write your own personal message and they will then be hung on the tree. All donations from the remembrance tree will go to charity. There is a rumour that the great man himself, Santa will make an appearance and family photos can be taken with him. It promises to be a great day so come and join the fun! Anyone interested in having a “table-top” please contact a committee member or phone the Community Hall number: 086 056 5544.
