ADORATION: Eucharistic Adoration will take place in the Sacristy of the Church on Wednesday. Representatives from the Diocese spoke at masses last weekend, people were requested to put their names forward for suitable time-slots, a meeting this week will establish the starting and finishing times of the day of prayer.

TIDY TOWNS: The Mid West Tidy Towns Awards were presented in Ennis on Thursday night of last week, the prizes presented were those won last September in the National competition. Our representatives brought home our 2nd bronze medal and two framed certificates, all were proudly displayed in the church last weekend, many thanks to all who made those awards possible.

A.G.M.: The Annual General Meeting of Blackrock G.A.A. Club failed to go ahead in the Community Centre, Ardpatrick on Sunday last, not enough numbers attended, the date for the A.G.M. now is Tuesday December 3rd at 7.30pm, at the same venue.

CLUB MEETING: Ardpatrick Ladies Club will meet on Monday night November 25th at 8pm in the Community Centre, during the night there will be a Tupperware Party, all welcome.

BEREAVEMENT: Sympathy is extended to Mrs Doreen Clifford and family of Upper Sunville, on the recent death of her sister Mrs Eileen Bourke of Gortnasna, Mitchelstown.

WALKS: Ballyhoura Bears walking club have 2 “A” walks and a “B” walk on Sunday November 24thth, there is a strenuous circuit of Lough Leane, Killarney, about 30 Kms, meet Gleneagle Hotel at 9.30am, contact 087-268 4976, the other “A” walk is from Glenanaar car park at 11am, contact 086-409 1351.

The “B” walk starts from Hospital Secondary School at 11am.

The Thursday night walk is from Garryarthur at 7.30, 087-922 9405, and the Saturday walk from Ardpatrick Community Centre at 11am.
