The death of Nellie: Sheehan,Ballylanders took place at Beechwood Nursing Home Bruree at an advanced age.Her brother Paddy predeceased her by a couple of months.She was proprietor of the well known Sheehans pub for many years along with her sister Mary.They were held in high esteem by the many customers who entered their premises.Removal took place from Ryans Funeral Home to the church of the Assumption,Ballylanders following Requiem Mass celebrated by Fr.Tom Breen PP,Internment took place in the local Cemetery.She is sadly missed by her nephews,nieces ,relatives and friends.May she rest in peace.

EMIGRATION: It is sad to see so many youth in all our communities leaving for foreign lands.All clubs ,organisations and of course their families and friends will feel the effects of their loss,Unemployment would of course be much higher only for their departure as seek to progress in life from their homeland.We wish them all the best in their travels.
