KNOCKAINEY TEA DANCE: ended their current season of Afternoon Tea Dances on last Sunday on a high note with a well attended lively evening of music, song, dance and home baked refreshments. Music on this evening was by the hugely popular man from the Glen Sam O’Doherty and the good news is that Sam will return on Sunday October 13th for the first dance of next season. The Tea Dance committee would like to thank all who attended the dances, all who donated raffle prizes, all who baked and provided refreshments, all who helped with tea and wash up, John and Norma the caretakers who helped in every way possible.Thanks to the musicians who provided the entertainment. See ye all in October for another great season of dancing.

KNOCKAINEY LADIES CLUB: next meeting on Monday April 29th at 8pm in Knockainey Community Centre. The AGM will take place on this night, also Ailish Drake will give talk on gardening for health eating and will do several demonstrations on the night. Raffle will take place and refreshments will be served. All are welcome.

KNOCKAINEY N.S: Parents of children due to commence school this September are now invited to apply for enrolment forms. Forms are available from the school secretary on Friday April 26th between 9.30am and 12 noon. If you are unable to call to the school please ring 061 383529 and an enrolment form will be posted to you.

BOOTCAMP CLASSES: in Knockainey Community Centre every Tuesday and Thursday from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Pay as you go EUR5 per class. All level of fitness welcome. Contact Brid at 087 4199615 for further information.

LOUGH GUR PARENT & TODDLER GROUP: meet every Monday from 9.30am to 11am at the Honey Fitz Theatre. Parents and children are welcome to enjoy the spacious facility while enjoying a cup of tea and coffee. Toys are provided at the centre or bring your own to share with others.

LOUGH GUR N.S: Anyone who wishes to enrol a child in Lough Gur N.S. for September 2013 is asked to please contact the school on 061 385004. for an enrolment form before Friday 26th April

SPRING CLEAN IN ELTON: Elton Residents are taking part in the National Spring Clean on Sat 27th April at 10am. All support from the surrounding areas would be most welcome Refreshments afterwards in the Cosy Kitchen.

KNOCKAINEY LADIES FOOTBALL: are proud to have 5 of our players represent the club this year at county level. Making the Limerick minor team are Leanne Hartnett, Clodagh Kirby, Sorcha Mc Carthy and Megan Kelleher, Megan also made it onto the Limerick Intermediate team along with Jean Cleary. The intermediate team is managed and trained by our very own minor trainer John Hartnett. Well done girls and best of luck in your upcoming matches.
