CHRISTMAS DUES: The Priests of the Parish would like to express their appreciation to those Parishioners who have already contributed their Christmas Dues. A number of Christmas Dues envelopes are still available in the three Churches of the Parish - Raheen, Mungret and Crecora. Alternatively, any Parishioner who has not received a Christmas Dues envelope, and who would wish to receive one, is welcome to contact the Parish Office, tel. 061-210869. Outstanding contributions can still be submitted, through the usual basket collection at any of the weekend Masses in the Parish, or directly to the Parish Office.

ST. NESSAN’S N.S: St. Nesssan’s National School, Mungret re-opened earlier this week, following the Christmas and New Year holidays. Students and Teachers at St. Nessan’s are wished a very happy and fruitful term, which concludes at Eastertime.

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL: The monthly meeting of the Mungret/Crecora/Raheen Parish Pastoral Council will be held on Tuesday next, January 14 at 8.15pm in the Millennium Centre, Raheen. Members are requested to please note this date, and to attend the meeting.

CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING: Local residents are reminded that the Recycling Centre at Mungret accepts Christmas trees for recycling; the Centre can be contacted, if necessary, for details, tel. 305720. By way of helping to protect the environment, not only Christmas trees but all other Christmas-related items such as gift wrappings, not already disposed of, should be recycled.

SANTA LETTERS: Organisers of the Christmas 2013 Santa Letters project, together with the teachers, parents and children at the School involved, wish to express their appreciation, once again, to everyone who contributed in any way to it’s success; the generosity of all who supported the project is very much appreciated.

DISABLED PARKING: A reminder - a specifically designated parking facility, for use by disabled drivers only, has been located beside Raheen Church for some time now. Official signposts signifying the specific usage of the spaces in question, as well as renewed road markings, have recently been erected at this location. Drivers attending Church Ceremonies in particular, as well as other vehicle owners who utilise the general car parking facilities at this location during the week, are reminded to leave the �disabled� spaces vacant so that they can be availed of by those drivers for whom they were installed in the first instance.

TIMES OF BAPTISM: A reminder of the designated times for the Sacrament of Baptism in the Parish: Raheen Church - Saturdays at 5pm and Sundays at 1.15pm; Mungret Church - Saturdays at 12noon; Crecora Church - Saturdays at 4pm.
