Ballylanders Jan 11

Pageant: Christmas eve mass was very much enriched by the local school children depicting the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. It was a scene enjoyed by the full house attendance with all the children from the youngest to the oldest playing their part. A special word of thanks must be accorded to their teachers and staff for the high standard of acting involved.

Once again at the heart of the Epiphany on January 6th the children were present to perform the scene of the three wise men arriving to offer gold frankincense & myrrh to celebrate the birth of our saviour. There is a certain amount of controversy about school opening on that day. It is nice to see, apart from the celebration, the school children present thereby enlarging the attendance. The children playing the part were much to be admired.
