Camogie Club: Cappamore Camogie Club are holding a Dinner Dance in Hayes’ Function Room, Cappamore on 23 November at 7.30pm to celebrate a winning team of 25 years ago and also the present Junior team’s victories in League & Championship in 2013.

Charlie Brown: Friends of Charlie Brown are organising the collection of used clothing, bed linen, curtains etc. to assist the Tidy Towns and Charlie’s care. Please drop any bags to Fr. Browne’s house Monday to Friday between 9.30am -1.00pm. Contact any of the “Friends” if you need bags collected. Mary & Eddie Greene of Greene’s Star Market & Service station will also take bags for this collection and we thank them for their help.

Dancing News: Congratulations to our Junior Dancers who won 12 first prize places and several runners –up prizes at the All-Ireland Waltz & Jive competitions. Tommy Dunne and Gráinne Hayes won first prize in both Jive & Rock ‘n Roll competitions at Senior level.

Youth Club: Registration night for Youth Club is on Saturday 2nd November from 8.15pm ‘til 9.00 at Community Centre. Young person(secondary school age) to be accompanied by parent/guardian in order to register. Cost €10. Team Hope – Christmas Shoebox Appeal With just over 8 weeks to Christmas it’s the perfect time to start thinking about filling a shoebox with age appropriate gifts to be sent to needy children in Eastern Europe and Africa.
