At the same time Dave Walsh and Jimmy Lillis took part in a charity cycle in Shanballymore in aid of the COPE Foundation. Well done to all involved in organising the cycle for such a worthy cause.

Sunday morning training continued with a gang of brave/mad warriors leaving Kilmallock at 8.30 and heading to Effin to meet up with some more club members and friends to take part in the Effin gathering cycle with all funds in aid of Milford Hospice. We departed from the Effin GAA field in Effin atrocious weather conditions and headed to Newcastlewest via Newtownshandrum, Milford, Dromcolligher and then back to Kilmallock via the Bruff Line into Bruree, Kilmallock and back to Effin. Training continues this week with our Wednesday night light cycle at 6.30. We are in wind down mode at this time of year so the pace and distance is handy just make sure to bring your lights and Hi-Viz gear and of course a helmet.

Saturday @ 9.30 is our all ability beginner/improver cycle where you decide the pace and distance while being accompanied by some experienced cyclists who are there to help you.

Sunday @8.30 is a longer cycle but it is not a race so it is just about getting out and keeping the legs turning over. As with all our cycles we depart from the car park beside Kilmallock Cycles.
