Soccer Lotto: The numbers drawn last weeks soccer lotto were 1, 6, 23 and 27. There was no winner of the jackpot prize. The winners in the lucky dip draw were Raymond Doran Brosna, Catherine Gilmartin, C/o Kostal and Terry Brosnan and Therese Brosnan both from Mountcollins. The winner of the promoter’s prize was Jeremiah Naughton. This week’s jackpot will be 12,700.

Autumn Fair: Desmond Complex Newcastle West are holding an Autumn Fair from 1pm to 6pm on Sunday next August 25th. There will be many attractions including stalls, music, games for children a draw with some valuable prizes. The fair is intended as a fundraiser but it will also provide information to the people of the local area on the facilities we provide for various groups of people far and wide. Development Draw: The local GAA club who are promoters of the county development draw which was held last week. Congratulations to Paul Collins who was the winner of €250. The next draw will be held on Friday 5th September.

GAA Lotto: The numbers drawn in last week’s Mountcollins/Tournafulla GAA lotto were, 14, 23, 24 and 28. There was no winner of the jackpot prize. Lucky dip prizes went to Daisy Doody, Tournafulla, Patrick Kelly, Tournafulla, Martina Lane, Brosna and Michelle Kelly, Tournafulla. The winner of the promoters prize was Jamie Lenihan. This weeks jackpot will be €2,000 with the draw taking place in Danahers Bar, Mountcollins and your continued support is appreciated.

Exam Results: Congratulations to all who received their leaving cert results in the past week. All expressed satisfaction with their results and now look forward to making progress at third level in an effort to securing suitable employment in the future.
