On Sunday at 12 noon our minor Footballers take on Kilpeacon in the B County final in Bruff. Again we are asking you to come along and support this young bunch of lads who have been outstanding to date.

Bally AFC Lotto: is now at €11,700 after last Monday night’s draw held in McDermott’s with the numbers drawn being 12, 13, 15, 25 & the lucky dips winner’s being Patrick Quane c\o Mace, Martina Mc Carthy c\o Post Office, Denis Roche c\o Ciaran. A big thank you for your continued support, please buy a ticket €2 at any business in the Village, also 6 monthly prepaid can be purchased for €50, & yearly ticket can be bought for €80, value for money or what, go on take a chance all the monies go towards the running of the club and the beautiful facility that is Castle Park. Death: The death of Peter Healy Church Glen, Ballylanders occurred recently after a long illness bravely borne at a nursing home. Removal took place from Ryan’s funeral parlour to the church of the Assumption Ballylanders. Requiem mass was celebrated by Fr. John O Neill P.P. and his Interment took place in the local cemetery. He is sadly missed by his wife Margi, family, grandchildren relatives & friends, may he rest in peace. Thank you.
