THE GATHERING CONCERT: We are delighted to present the Gathering concert at the Community Centre on Fri June 28th at 8pm. Join local singers, dancers and musicians on a musical tour around the 32 counties of Ireland. Produced by Nancy Wheeler, this informal evening of well loved Irish song and dance is not to be missed. Adults EUR5 children free.

KNOCKAINEY VILLAGE FESTIVAL: Wed 26th June 7:30pm: Parish walk. A ramble through Knockainey, guided by a local resident. History, stories and lovely views! Refreshments afterwards in Lynch’s pub at the top of the hill. Meet at Lynch’s 7:30pm. EUR5 adults. Children free. Thurs 27th June 7:30pm: Tour of St John’s Graveyard, with launch of graveyard self guided tour leaflet. Cheese and wine reception. 10 pm: Bat Walk from St John’s. Join a bat conservationist on a walk and talk about our native bats; hopefully the bats will join in as well.... Fri 28th June 8pm: The Gathering concert in the Community Centre. Presented by local people, this concert takes us on a musical tour around Ireland. Adults EUR5 Children free. Music afterwards in Jacks. Sat 29th June 11am: 5 and 10 km fun run/walk, starting from Community Centre. 2pm: Fun at the Field: Novelty Sports activities.
