Pallaskenry Community Playground Committee: will hold Bingo on Monday 21st October at 8pm in Pallaskenry Community Centre. €400 in prize money and raffle for 1 night B&B in a 5 star hotel in Killarney. Refreshments served on the night.

Pallaskenry GAA Lotto: Numbers drawn on Oct 9 were: 10, 15, 21 and 23. There was no winner. Lucky dips of €25 were won by: Mary Cregg, Dorothy O Sullivan, Anne Gleeson and Deirdre Clarke. Sellers prize was won by Corner House. This weeks jackpot is €3,900 and draw will be held in clancys bar.

Pallaskenry AFC Lotto: Numbers drawn on Oct 8 were; 6, 7, 8 and 21. There was no winner. Lucky dips of €25 were won by: Richard Downes, Annette Dundon, 3 Men & A lady, Ann Barry, Mary Holland, D Prendergast, B Nash and P Collins c/o Slas. This weeks jackpot is €20,000 and draw will take place in Corner House.

Senior Citizens: Pallaskenry senior citizens are holding a”Mrs Brownes Fancy dress 3km Walk on Sunday 27th October at 3pm. Registration €5 at community centre at 2.30pm. Prize for best dressed Mrs. Brown. All monies raised go towards annual Christmas party.

Table Quiz: Pallaskenry senior citizens are holding a Table Quiz in corner house on Friday 25th October at 9pm. Tables of 4 €20. Valuable raffle prizes. All monies raised go towards Christmas dinner.

Sale of Work: Pallaskenry community council would like to thank all those who supported the sale of work on Sunday last. Raffle winners were; €100 Eddie Bourke, Karting in Kilcornan karting track, Andrew Staff, Dinner for 2 in Woodlands, Mary Somers, Ballynorth, Askeaton, Dinner for 2 in Shannon House, Marian Malone, Summerville and €50 Louise Ryan, Cluain Mhuire.

u16 county Title : Kildimo/Pallaskenry u16 hurlers won the u16 county championship on Saturday defeating Old Christians in a scoreline of 3 13 to 2 9. Congratulations to all concerned.
