Exposition and Novena: Exposition and Novena continues in both churches in the parish as follows: Ballybricken: Novena at 7.30pm on Monday, Exposition on Tuesday, 3pm – 10pm; Bohermore: Exposition on Thursday, 5.30pm – 7.30pm. Due to the Pastoral course in the Millenium Centre Caherconlish for October there will be no Novena and Mass after the Exposition in Bohermore on Thursdays.
Confessions: Confessions in Ballybricken Church before the 7.30pm Mass every Saturday and in Bohermore before the Novena Mass on the First Thursday of every month.
GAA Lotto: Draw held on 6 October: There was no winner of the Jackpot this week. Numbers drawn: 8, 16, 17 and 25. Lucky dip winners Eileen Ryan, Pat Ramsbottom, Bill Nolan and Lorraine O’Brien. Walk of Life: The inaugural 5km Walk of Life in Aid of Milford Hospice will take place on Saturday 19 October 2013.There are five walks taking part simultaneously and the one in the East is taking part in Glenstal in Murroe. Lucozade Sports Crusade: The club is taking part in the “Lucozade Sports Crusade” and club members are asked to collect bottle caps from lucozade sports drinks bottles, these caps can be redeemed for sports goods. Full support and participation appreciated.
Fitness Classes: Fitness classes for all ages will commence November 7 at 8pm in the Ballybricken/Bohermore GAA Clubhouse. All are welcome.
Clothes Collection: Ballybricken/Bohermore GAA club will be holding a clothes collection on Saturday 9th November, more details will follow in the coming weeks.
Laurel Hill FCJ Schools 2013 Gathering: Calling all Laurel Hill FCJ past and present pupils and their families, why not join us for the biggest past pupil gathering and family fun night at the Limerick Greyhound Stadium on Friday November 8 in aid of school development fund. Fund Raising Dance: There will be a 1960’s fund raising dance in Bulgaden Castle featuring Crystal swing and Old News (support band) on Friday night October 25 at 9.30pm. All proceeds go to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin. This is a most worthy cause so let your hair down, roll back the years and swing the night away as in the swinging sixties. Admission €10.
