Funeral Service: On Sunday next, June 14th Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption, Mountcollins at 2pm in honour of the late Kay Lenihan, formerly of The Cross, Mountcollins who died in Tasmania. Afterwards her ashes will be interred with her parents, John and Lizzie in the local cemetery. May she Rest in Peace.

Tidy Towns: Thank you to all who contributed to Saturday night collection in Mountcollins. Donations are still been accepted and these can be given to Kevin Flannery or Patrick Naughton or any committee member. All donations are welcome and these will help to defray the cost of hanging baskets and flower boxes which are placed throughout the village. With an improvement in the weather local residents will have an opportunity to give a good impression of their areas by painting their property, planting flowers and cleaning up their areas. Over the years the village and approach roads have impressed the judges and increased our marks consistently, so once again all householders are asked to help out.
