40th Anniversary Bingo: To celebrate 40 years of very successful Bingo sessions in Cappamore we are holding a Bingo Special on Sunday 20 th. October 2013 in Community Centre at 3.00p.m. This is one of the best and most consistent Bingo sessions in Munster with Top-class prize money every week. The Total Prize money for the year 2012 was €150,290.00
St. Michael’s Daycare Centre: The management of Cappamore Daycare Centre are most thankful to the Doon Vintage Club for their very generous donation of €3,500 following their very successful Vintage weekend in September. The presentation of cheques took place at Moore’s Bar, Doon and a very enjoyable social night followed. The main prize in the raffle, which was a car, was won by a Daycare user –Mary Bartley, Boher.
Walk of Life: The Walk of Life in aid of Milford Hospice is taking place on Saturday 19th October. 5 walks will be taking simultaneously – Walking location for East Limerick is Murroe/Glenstal. Cuan Mhuire: Sr. Consilio Fitzgerald of Cuan Mhuire, Bruree House will be holding her annual church gate collection in Cappamore next weekend. Craft Fair: The 25th Annual Craft Fair will take place in the Castle Oaks House Hotel in Castleconnell on Bank Holiday Sunday & Monday 27th and 28th October from 12 to 6 each day. All of the crafts at the fair are Irish made and of the highest quality. Indeed, from your own parish, Eric O Neill of Killuragh Kraftworks will be in attendance.
