KEY FOUND:A key with a club card and a red plastic toy attached was found near the Church recently, owner please call to the Sacristy after masses, a mobile phone found some time ago was never claimed, again would the owner please call to the Sacristy.

HURLERS ADVANCE: Blackrock junior “B” hurlers beat Pallasgreen in the county quarter final in Bruff last Sunday, the game went to extra time, the final score was 1-17 to 15 points.

WALKS AGM: There was a good attendance at the Ballyhoura Bears AGM in Deebert House Hotel Kilmallock, on Tuesday night October 8th, the club has a membership of 206 walkers. The new committee was elected as follows:

President - Cal McCarthy.

Chairman - Robin Lee.

Secretary - Susie Flavin.

Treasurer - Robert Ryan.

Social Secretary - Liz Enright.

Training - Pat Lombert.

News Letter - Billy Rowan.

CLASSES: Yoga classes continue in the Community Centre each Monday night at 8pm, children’s dancing classes on Friday evenings from 6-7pm.
