CAREBRIGHT FUN-RUN, JOG, WALK - FUNDRAISER: CareBright, formerly RCCN who provide Carers in the Community, are having a 7 km Fun-Run, Jog or Walk on Bank Holiday Monday, 28th October commencing at 2.30pm from Cill Bhride, Kilteely. This event is for 2 of our Carers who are seriously ill and undergoing treatment. Staff of CareBright have sponsorship cards or alternatively you can support the event by joining us on the day to walk, jog or run €10 for runners and €5 to walk. SARSFIELD LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB: The Club will be holding a Fr Ted Disco on 19th October in Aherns Bar, on the night there will be a Lovely Ladies Competition, prizes for the best dressed Fr Ted, Fr Jack, Fr Dougal or Mrs Doyle & Raffle. Admission €5. Guaranteed to be a great night.
GAA.: The Club are taking a trip to Clondakin in Dublin on Bank Holiday Monday, October 28th to play the local GAA club in a number of hurling & football matches. This is open to all our U10, U8 and U6s so please get your name into Tommy or John O’Dea ASAP, the bus will leave Kilteely church car park at 8.30am, it will be a great day out for all involved.
SOCCER: Our U11s travelled to Cullen to take on St Davids. The game was even through the first 10 minutes before St Davids grabbed two goals to lead at the break. New boy Aaron Hanley soon made it 2-1 but St. Davids grabbed two more to leave it 4-1 at the end. All the players tried really hard and with a bit of coaching this group can go places.

The 25th Annual Craft Fair: will take place in the Castle Oaks House Hotel in Castleconnell, on Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday, October 27 & 28, from 12 to 6 each day.
All of the crafts at the fair are Irish made and of the highest quality. It is a great way to start your Christmas shopping. So, come along, support our craft entrepreneurs and buy Irish!As well as wonderful crafts, we will have the Munster Senior & Minor Hurling cups on display, and you will have the chance to win in our raffle, or in the draw for tickets to see the boys of One Direction at their concert in Dublin next year. It could be worth the trip!

There will be a 1960’s fundraising dance: in Bulgaden Castle featuring Crystal Swing and Old News (support band) on Friday, night October 25th. with all proceeds going to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin. This is a most worthy cause so let down your hair, roll back the years and swing the night as in the swinging sixties. Admision €10. Please support.
BASIC COMPUTER TRAINING: Are you a member of the Farming Community how would like to improve your Computer Skills. Would you like to be able to use Done Deal, Register your Calf’s on Line, Send and receive e-mails. Then sign up for our Basic Computer Training. The training will run for 4 weeks. Course Costs€20.
