EASTER IN MITCHELSTOWN: Easter in Mitchelstown passed of very quietly. Many locals returned for the week end. Large attendances attended Church ceremonies and local businesses had a busy period. Gardai reported no major incidents or accidents.

DIVINE MERCY: This years Divine Mercy celebrations will take place in Mitchelstown Parish Church this Sunday April 7 from 2pm to 5pm. There will be Mass at 4pm. There will also be Rosary, Stations of the Cross and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Well known Faith Healer John Delaney will address the congregation. A number of priests will be available for confessions. Everyone is welcome.
