Parent/gurdian/CARER AND newbaby/ Toddler group – Will Continue on Thursdays from April 11th in meeting room the community centre Knocklong from 10:00 am to 11:30am. This is to be a self funding project so to cover cost of the hall each family attending is asked for €3 per week. All welcome

KDA: Grand Annual Balloon Race 2013 took place Easter Sunday, great turn out again for this event thanks to all who supported in any way.

Tidy Towns Knocklong and ELTON: Judging begins on June 1st to August 31st. A number of tasks will have to be completed by that date which “includes the annual Spring Clean up” in April- Saturday 26th and fun clean up. These are our villages let’s keep them special and be proud of the areas. .

GLENBROHANE OLD SCHOOL AND PARISH REUNION

Glenbrohane Old School and Parish Reunion Committee was set up recently with the purpose of organizing a number of events on Fri 9th, Sat 10th and Sun 11th August 2013 in conjunction with ‘The Gathering 2013’. Reaching out and bringing together those near and far with connections to the Parish of Glenbrohane and in particular those who attended the Old School is our aim. Anyone with relatives abroad who intend to visit Glenbrohane this year, please encourage them to come during the reunion.
