GAA News: The U14 Footballers made the trip to Pallasgreen last Thursday March 25 to take on our hosts in the Quarter Final of the U14 B Feile. Despite being short several players we put on a very solid performance and won the game well. Credit to all players as this was a real team performance with all of our 6 forwards getting on the score sheet and our centre fielders and backs keeping a tight rein on their opponents

Our U16 Footballers had their first outing of the year when they took on Ballylanders on Monday March 25 in Ballylanders. All in all it was a very good team performance and we came away with a comprehensive win on the day.

The U21 Hurlers (Naomh Bríd) played Pallagreen in the East Hurling championship on Friday evening last in Caherelly. Playing against the elements in the first half we trailed at half time 7 points to 3. We got off to a great start in the second half scoring 1-1 in the first few minutes and drawing both sides level. We continued to exchange points and it was a very tightly contested second half. However, in the end Pallasgreen came away winners on a single point margin. Final score 1-5 to 0-9.
