ST. PADRE PIO PRAYER GROUP: meet on Friday April 5th at 7pm in Knockainey Church. Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary and Novena to the Sacred Heart will take place. There will also be Confessions followed by First Friday Mass at 7.30. All are welcome.

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY CELEBRATIONS: on Sunday April 7th will take place in St. John’s Cathedral, Limerick. These will be celebrated by Fr. John Walsh and will include Confessions, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Rosary, Holy Mass, Blessing and Veneration of the Divine Mercy Image and Blessing with relic of St. Faustina. Celebrations will begin at 2.30pm. All are welcome

PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK: the Apostolate of Eucharistic Adoration is holding its first ever annual Pilgrimage to Knock, to celebrate the Year of Faith on Saturday April 20th 2013. If sufficient numbers are interested in travelling a bus will be organised. Contact Joan at 087 2715765 if you intend to travel.

KNOCKAINEY AFTERNOON TEA DANCE: next dance on Sunday April 14th at 3pm. Music by the fabulous Sam O’Doherty. Dancing from 3pm to 6pm. Tea and refreshments will be served. Raffle on the day. Admission €5.

KNOCKAINEY LADIES CLUB : Next meeting will take place on Monday April 8th at 8pm sharp. Marie O’Neill will give talk on Aloe Vera. All are welcome

DIVINE MERCY PILGRIMAGE TO POLAND: visiting Warsaw, Czestochova, Zakopane, and Krakow will take place on October 6th 2013 for 10 nights. Group leader is Kathleen Hayes and Spiritual Director is Fr. KNOCKAINEY PIONEER ASSOCIATION: congratulations to Patricia O’Connell and John Carroll who won the Munster Final of the Table Quiz in Athlacca last Sunday.

LOUGH GUR PARENT & TODDLER GROUP: meet every Monday from 9.30am to 11am at the Honey Fitz Theatre. Parents and children are welcome to enjoy the spacious facility while enjoying a cup of tea and coffee. Toys are provided at the centre or bring your own to share with others.

KNOCKAINEY AFC LOTTO: There was no winner of the lotto last week which was held in Moloney’s bar, Knockainey last Friday night. The numbers drawn were 4, 6, 13 and 14.
