Wedding: Heartiest congratulations to: Eoin Maher, son of Brendan and Kathleen of Thurles and Emer Hennessy, daughter of James and Margaret of Raheen. David Glynn, son of Luke and Marian of Athenry and Clara Dillon, daughter of Noel and Christina of Old Cratloe Road. We wish Eoin and Emer and David and Clara a long and happy life together.

Charity Fun Cycle: Boher Community Development Association will host a Charity Fun Cycle on Saturday, June 1st in aid of Cliona’s Foundation providing financial assistance for critically ill children) in memory of Ciara McCarthy. Starting at 7.00pm commencing from Boher Community Centre Station House (Sign in 6.30pm). Please support this worthy cause. Refreshments after the cycle. Gaelscoil News: Pupils & staff of Gaelscoil Chaladh an Treoigh warmly welcomed President of the GAA, Liam Ó Néill, county players & representatives and sponsors to the Gaelscoil recently, to promote Féile na nGael. Limerick is hosting the event this year. Pupils donned the Monaleen colours of red and white for the visit. The visitors were delighted with the warm welcome they received.

Pupils for Rang I - VI partook in Limerick Primary Schools Athletics Finals in U.L. track recently, with over 1000 pupils in attendance on the day. We were blessed with sunshine for the event. Gaelscoil Chaladh an Treoigh were very well represented with the girls team winning their division. Comghairdeas ó chroí libh uilig.

Lions Club Used Spectacles Collection: Castletroy & District Lions Club are once again collecting used spectacles. A box is available in the Church. Boxes are also located in Superquinn and the local schools. Your unwanted spectacles could improve the life of a person in the developing world.

Volunteer as a Lay Reader: A ‘roster’ of lay readers provides for each volunteer to read once every two months. We are now seeking additional readers and ask members of the congregation to volunteer to read at your preferred mass-time. Coaching and support will be provided if requested. Please give your name to Msgr Dan or Fr Michael.
