Camogue Rovers GAA club: Medal Presentation Night: A medal presentation night to present both the South Football league and championship medals will be held at the Hogan Stand bar in Meanus on Saturday 26th January. The party will kick off around 8pm with a night of great fun and entertainment guaranteed. There will be music on the night provided by a band, followed by a DJ as well as lots of food and beverages, and hopefully a medal presentation squeezed in along the way! All players and supporters are cordially invited to attend.

Scrap Saturday: The Scrap Collection which was held in Meanus before Christmas was a great success. The Defibulator Group and Camogue Rovers GAA Club, whose members worked hard to make it a success, wish to thank all those who donated their scrap for the collection. The final figure realized was €5, 300 which was greatly appreciated by both clubs involved.

Drama at The Honeyfitz: Lough Gur Armature Dramatic Society who presented John B Keane’s “The Field” to packed audiences in the Honeyfitz Theatre, Lough Gur for three nights last week- end will by popular demand present the play again this week-end on Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th January at 8 p.m. sharp each night. Cards: Winners at last Sunday night’s cards in Meanus with seven games were: Willie O Brien and Maureen Haigney, Dan Moloney and Ger Heelan, Alice Punch and Joe Carey.

Keep- Fit: Keep-Fit resumes in Meanus Community Hall after the Christmas break and is held each Monday night commencing at 8 p.m. All welcome to attend.

Set Dancing: has also resumed in the Community Centre and is held each Wednesday night commencing at 8.15 p.m. All welcome to come along and join in the fun.

Bruff Camogie Club: Bruff Camogie Club are holding their Registeration night on this Friday night, 25th January from 7 -9 Bruff GAA Complex. All players need to be registered so that they will be eligible to play
