Novena: The Novena to the Sacred Heart will take place at 10 o’clock Mass in Bruff Church commencing on 30th May until 7th June. The Novena is available in leaflet form in each Church for those who cannot attend Mass but who wishes to do the Novena in their own.

Gala WeekEnd: Arrangements are being made by Meanus Social Club for the Gala Week-End which they are holding on 28th, 29th and 30th June. More details will be given later.

Saggart Pilgrimage: The Annual Saggart Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place this year from 22nd to 27th September. For booking forms or further information please contact Fr. Joe Foley at 087 2618412 or Eileen Irwin at 087 6628288.

Smoke Alarms: The Fire Brigade is installing free Smoke Alarms to the elderly or persons living alone. Anybody interested should contact Fr. Joe Foley at 087 2618412 or Hanora Horan (Parish Secretary) at 061 389033 between 9.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday with your name, address and phone number and we will pass on your details to the Fire Brigade. They will then contact you and arrange a date and time as to when they will install your free Smoke Alarm.

Bord Na nOg: Our u12 hurlers started phase 2 of their campaign against a well drilled Doon side. The boys stuck well to their task but some well taken scores by the Doon boys secured them victory. Next up for the U12s is an away game against Croagh/Kilfinny on Thursday 6th June, Throw in 6:45pm.

The u14 footballers opened their campaign with a narrow loss to Fr Casey’s. Next up for the u14s is a home game against Kildimo on Wednesday 5th June. Throw in 7pm.

The Long Puc competition around the ring of Camass takes place on Bank Holiday Monday June 3rd @ 1pm. This is sure to be a great day and your support is greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go to financing the Feile teams’ preparation.
