GROTTO RESTORATION: Work on the restoration of Cratloe Grotto commenced this week and will continue for some time. The project which is being part funded by Leader will result in the iron railings, statues and altar being restored to the condition that they were in when the grotto was erected in 1932. Many local families have made generous contributions to the repair fund and anybody who missed out at the time can still do so in the coming weeks. Mary Frost, Sean McNamara and Jim Enright are the treasurers of the fund.
